She was a life long resident of the Memphis, Collierville Tennessee area. Annette was not only a homemaker, she worked beside her late husband Harris Brooks Joyner, who died in 2015 on their farm in Collierville. She was a charter member of Christ the Rock Church, she had become a member of Life Church on Houston Levee. As much as she loved her children, helping raise her grandchildren was her pride and joy.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Bernis A. and Malideen Norman Porter; husband, Harris Brooks Joyner; 2 sisters; Charlotte Mosby, and Rebecca Anthony. She is survived by her daughter; Pam Cash (Darrel), son; Phil Joyner (Tanya), grandchildren; Dr. Leah Joyner, Sarah Joyner, Wesley Cash (Alison), Jesse Cash (Madison), Tabitha Joyner, and Andrew Joyner, 2 sisters; Bernice Hopkins (Hansford), and Margaret Rogers (Wayne), 3 Brothers; Burnis A. Porter, Jr., Robert Porter (Julia), and Kevin Porter.
A gathering of family and friends for Annette will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Collierville Funeral Home.
