Wilma Rose Russell

Wilma Rose Russell(Dais), known fondly as Wilma, peacefully passed away on October 18, 2023, in Coppell, Texas, at the age of 97. She was born on July 12, 1926, in Toledo, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband John, son Timmy ,her parents, Reba and Bill Dais , and , her sisters Vivian and Jean.

Wilma will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and gg. She lived her life according to Christian beliefs and values, always putting others before herself. Wilma's strength and resilience were evident until the very end, and she faced life's challenges with a quirky smile and a sharp wit. Her intense compassion and love for all will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

In her free time, Wilma found joy in baking and gardening. These hobbies brought her immense satisfaction and allowed her to express her creativity and nurturing nature.

A memorial service to celebrate Wilma's life will be held at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas, on October 23, 2023. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ASPCA, as animals held a special place in Wilma's heart.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Walker Funeral Home in Toledo, Ohio.

Wilma's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her surviving loved ones, including her daughter Laura Martin, her son Eric Russell, and their families.

May Wilma rest in eternal peace, knowing that she touched the lives of many and left a lasting legacy of love and compassion.
