Ruby Dean Wright, 92 of Lubbock, TX died Friday May 22, 2016. In death she was reunited with the love of her life, Derwin Wright whom she married in 1940. Funeral services are set for 10:00AM on Friday, April 29th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
She was born April 4, 1924 in Deport, TX and lived there until she married Derwin in 1940. They moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1947 and lived there for 30 years until Derwin became ill and they moved to Euless, TX. Derwin died in 1978. In Nov. 2003, Ruby Dean moved to Lubbock, TX to be near family, where she lived until her death. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Oakley and husband Gary of Lubbock TX, Dianne McNabb of Fountain CO and a son David Wright of Carlsbad NM; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
