Robert "Shag" L LaPrade, age 84, of Hurst, TX passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Robert was born August 23, 1936 in Martinsville, VA. Bob graduated from Paris Junior college in 1960 and Sam Houston State University in 1962. Bob worked as a printing salesman for over 50 years, finally retiring at the age of 82.
Bob married Nancy Ingram in 1959 and together they had one child, Terry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lucy LaPrade; and siblings, Cecil LaPrade and Karen LaPrade.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy LaPrade; son, Terry LaPrade (Cynthia); step-grandchildren, John Mays, Dr. Travis Mays (Toy), and Cameron Hines (Travis); siblings, Ruth Munn, Hazel Glenn, and Garland Wayne LaPrade (Molly); and many loving family and friends.
