Mr. Richard Franklin Potts

Richard was born to Durbin F. Potts and Nellie Cates on September 19, 1924 in Washington, Indiana.

He served in World War II with the United States Marine Corp. Richard was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds he received in battle.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Rosemary Supry and Juanita Ruth Placer and his son, Byron F. Potts. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Potts; sons, Martin S. Potts and Jeffrey F. Potts; daughters, Jennifer Johnson, spouse JR, and Janice Cosgrove, spouse David; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 11AM-12PM in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville, Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A graveside service will follow immediately in the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
