I'm so saddened to hear this news. Nancy is a childhood friend who I had not seen in years until I came back to DFW area, about 5 years ago.
I always remember her as being so sweet and loving  with such a positive attitude, beautiful smile and an easy laugh.  Rest in peace sweet Nancy.

Nancy was one of the sweetest, kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever known. We go way, way back (close to 50 years!) as very, very dear friends. Enjoying her sweet tea, she would serenade me until her hands were tired - I on her sofa and she with her accomplished pianist skills. She tried to teach me once (we were young). It might have worked had we not spent the majority of our time laughing and giggling. We spent hours playing Scrabble. She was SO good! She was always playing words I’d never heard before. I‘d ask what it meant. She’d say, “I don’t know, it just sounds like a word.” I’d ask how she knew to spell it. She’d just say, “I don’t know, it just looks like a word.” I learned real quick not to challenge her! She never lost a challenge! She just KNEW! Sweet AND smart. Well, so now... there are not enough words to impart what a wonderful woman and friend Nancy was to me. One of God’s angels on earth and now in heaven. Music, laughter and love - I will always love her. I will always  remember her. And I will forever miss her ~~~
