She is survived by son David Earl Denman of Cedar Creek Lake, south of Gun Barrel City, TX and son Robert Mehl Denman of Grand Prairie, TX, sister Betty Tupper of Village Mills, TX and nephew Kyle Mehl of Bridge City, TX.
Mary Ann graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, TX at mid-term in 1948. Mary Ann was very active in all facets of her life. She was a cheerleader for her high school football team, played on the girls basketball team and was a member of the archery team!
After high school she attended the business division of Lamar State School of Business and graduated April 12, 1955. After school Mary Ann traveled taking trips to Mexico, New York and San Francisco with her high school friends. She worked as secretary for the Superintendent of Port Arthur Schools. She had a passion for travel!
She continued traveling for the remainder of her life. She was a lifetime member of the Antique Car Club of America and a member of the Horseless Carriage Club, National and local. She was also a national and local member of the Vintage Club of America and the Willis-Overland Knight Registry. She enjoyed many Chairman positions in the local clubs. She was happy traveling to many beautiful places by Vintage car or modern vehicle.
Funeral arrangements will be held at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034 on May 10, 2022. Visitation is scheduled for 11:30 am and the Celebration of Life service at 12:30 pm. A small reception will be held in the foyer after the service.
