Mary Catherine Allen (Kitty) passed away peacefully at her home in Trophy Club surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was 85 years old. Kitty was born in Jean, Texas on May 2, 1931 to Merwin and Elsie Turner. She was the second of five children. She grew up with her family in Waggoner Ranch. Kitty attended the University of North Texas where she earned her Master’s Degree in education. She taught elementary school for over 40 years. Kitty married Robert Allen in December of 1967 and they were married for 34 years before he passed away in 2001. Kitty loved to travel, garden, and was an avid reader. Kitty is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Merwin and Elsie, and her sisters Peggy and Eloise. Kitty is survived by her brother Merwin, sister Jeannette, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
