Martha Alice Mealer Williams, of N. Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Keller, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, friend, colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on November 4, 1930 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Will Clinton and Nannie Maude Mealer.
Martha was married to the late Melvin Ray Williams for 47 years prior to his demise in February 1997. Martha was mother, homemaker and caretaker up until the death of Melvin. She then went to work for Durham School Services in the Keller school district where she was employed for over 10 years. She enjoyed her time there working with the disabled children. Martha was an excellent cook and enjoyed crafts and working with children in the class room.
Martha is survived by sisters, Sandy K. Rushing and daughter LeNan of Eureka Springs, AR and Marie White of Ft. Worth, TX.; three children, daughters Ginger Campbell and husband Bobby of Ivanhoe TX, daughter Janet Bernier of Seattle, WA and son, Tad D. Williams and wife Chrystal of Keller TX. Sister-in-law Margaret Stockton of Tyler, TX, brother-in-law Carl Williams and wife Wanda of San Angelo, TX. Grandchildren, Jason Anderson and wife Whitney of Cedar Park, TX, Angela Campbell of Ivanhoe, TX, and Lori Whittaker and husband Stefan of Hutto, TX, Airon Crow of Colorado, Tyler Williams of Saginaw, TX, Meagan Anderwald and Allison Williams of N. Richland Hills, TX, Megan Mullikin and James Williams of Keller, TX. Great grandchildren, Jaxon Anderson, Aubrianna Campbell, Dakota Heimann and Leia and Elijah Anderwald of N. Richland Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 9 – 10 o’clock a.m. on Saturday, July 21st at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 o’clock a.m. also at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at 11 o’clock a.m.
