Mrs. Margaret Ann Hulsey

Ann was born and raised in east Fort Worth, to McGregor and Margaret (Jones) McCart. Ann graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1965 and attended the University of Texas at Arlington with her future husband, James Earl Hulsey. They married in 1968 and had their first child in 1969. James joined the Air Force after college and Ann traveled with him throughout Asia, even living in Okinawa, Japan.

Ann enjoyed being primarily a mother and homemaker, but was active in La Leche League for many years, serving as a state and national officer, and also worked as a preschool teacher and later in the American Airlines executive offices. While working at American Airlines and during her retirement, Ann enjoyed traveling throughout America, the Caribbean, and Europe. In her retirement, Ann became an avid gardener and enjoyed embroidery and sewing clothes for her grandchildren. Ann was a member of Saint Laurence Church in Southlake.

Ann is survived by James; their five children: Angela (married to Brian Walitt), Lara Kristin, Robin (married to Dean Stansel), James Michael, and Aric (married to Bailie Duncan); five grandchildren: Alison, Alex, Thyme, Juli and Lucian; and her older brother, Mac (married to Sue).

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Saint Laurence Church, 519 Kimball Avenue, Southlake, Texas.
