James Iain Hock was born on Jan. 22, 1988, in Dallas. When he was 9 years old, he decided to the put the Lord on in baptism at Airport Freeway Church of Christ. His faith permeated every part of his life. Inspired by his dad's military service, he joined the Corps of Cadets as an E-1 Jock and accepted a commission in the U.S. Army.
James met the love of his life, Leslie, his senior year of high school. After five years of dating, they were married in a beautiful ceremony on May 22, 2011. James would tell you that the greatest day of his life was the day his son, Lucas, was born.
James I. Hock passed away on Feb. 16, 2016. His light is not extinguished by death and he is home and whole with our Father in heaven.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife and son, Leslie and Lucas Hock; his sister, Brittany Lowery and her family; by his parents, Jim and Brenda Hock; and a host of other family and friends.
