She was born on June 17, 1948 in Vaini, Tongatapu, Tonga to Viliami Makoni Pole and Malia Fahina Vaioleti Pole.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bahai Faith Community in Mansfield, Texas.
Halakiumata is survived by her husband, Soane Lino of Mansfield, Texas; sons, Senituli Lino of Fort Worth, Texas, and Dawnbreaker Lino of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Nancy Veimau of Mansfield, Texas; Olivia Lino of Mansfield, Texas, Marjorie Heimuli of Salt Lake City, Utah; Kelesi Buck of Mansfield, Texas, and Fahina Kelen of Mansfield, Texas. Brothers, To’a Pole of Euless, Texas; Feao Pole of Auckland, New Zealand, Po’uli Pole of Vaini, Tonga; Sosefo Pole of Auckland, New Zealand, Nikola Pole of Auburn, Washington and Nele Pole of Auckland, New Zealand; sisters, Nancy Tongia of Brisbane, Australia, Soana Malieta – Heimuli of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ana Hifo of Auckland, New Zealand. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mattie Faingàanuku Finau of Grand Prairie, Texas.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Satuday, January 23, 2021 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
