Earl Hale Blackshire Jr., 73, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born August 3, 1941, in Stumptown, West Virginia, to Earl Hale Blackshire Sr. and Helen Bush Blackshire. Earl retired from The Kroger Corporation after 40 years of service as a grocery merchandiser. Earl loved his children, grandchildren, his cars and his garden; he will be greatly missed by all of them. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Survivors: Children, Trey Blackshire and wife, Jana, Paula Long and husband, Keith, Michele Cochran and Cheryl Williams and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Delani and Chase Long, Chantz Cochran, Nathan Blackshire and Conner Williams; siblings, Roger, Benny and Doug Blackshire, Jeanette Childers and Betty Jo Croson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
