COLLEYVILLE -- Douglas Walter Cleveland Holden, 79, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Grapevine.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Doug retired from American Airlines as an avionics mechanic after more than 35 years. He was a longtime Lutheran and enjoyed church at Messiah Lutheran Church in Keller where he was a charter member and elder. Doug served in the U.S. Marine Corps shortly after graduating from high school in Arkansas.
Survivors: Loving wife of 55 years, Francis Allyne Wuensche Holden; son, Derek and his partner Karen Dillard; daughters, Jill and her partner Rebecca Dunlap, and Dawn; niece, Rachael and her husband, Jim Butler; niece, Melinda and her husband, Darin Mitchell and their children; and sister, Joyce Haynes.
