He was born in Fort Worth, TX on December 4, 1958. He traveled the world with the Texas Boys Choir, and even sang for the Pope. He was a proud graduate of Richland High School '77 and went on to marry the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Brenda, on May 13, 1978. In the forty-two years of their marriage, they enjoyed raising their three daughters, working on cars and taking road trips through the mountains. He was there for every game or activity coaching or encouraging his kids and grandkids. David gave bear hugs and smiles to each person in his life and when he hugged you, you knew he meant it. He was so proud of his family. David had passion and knowledge for cars and was an Automotive Inspector. He attended Gateway Church with his family for the last 15 years and loved sports, the Cowboys and spending time with his beloved wife. He is forever in our hearts until we meet again.
David is survived by wife, Brenda, daughters Jennifer Morcom, Jessica Cowan and spouse Eric, Jill Kirk and spouse John, grandkids Daniel, Nathan, Carli, TJ, Alexis, Kyler, Natalie, John, William, and Duncan, sisters Candis Blankinship and spouse James, Jonna Wilson and spouse Dean, brother Dan and a host of family and friends including his brother from another mother, Randy Bourland.
