Robert Lee Wilson, III was born on October 14, 1988 to Barbara Anita Brown and Robert Lee Wilson, Jr. He was a handsome and tiny “Grand Baby”. Preceding him in death, were his grandparents, Mr. Robert & Doris Wilson, Sr. and Mr. Wiley & Lucile Johnson; great-grandmother, Mrs. Addie M. Brown; and an uncle, Mr. Richard White.
At a very early age under the tutelage and guidance of his mother, Lee attended Sunday school, church, and Bible school with his mother and grandmother.
Lee began reading the Quran and as he began to read and study more the faith resonated with his soul and gave him peace and brotherhood with others. It added another outlook on life, aside from his Christian upbringing.
Lee played little league baseball during his youth. He also loved basketball and football.
His early learning began in Blackshear and he continued his education in Fulton County Schools. He was known as “Sisgo” and “Smurf Dizzle” during middle school. He was a student at Atlanta Area Technical College where he studied Audio and Technical Support and Barbering.
He was born into a “talent filled family”. God has an Angel. From his deep love of music to his natural and melodious singing voice. He won many talent contests and he was also a great dancer.
Lee met and fell in love with Shanita Nicole Campbell and they were married on December 11, 2009. They have two beautiful children, Maliyah Christina and Emmanuel. Nicole and the children were the love of his life. His love for family was immeasurable. Lee dearly loved and cherished his two sisters, Patricia and Morgan. He also had a very close relationship with his cousin, Brianna, and it was often joked, that they were joined at the hip. He enjoyed family gatherings.
On July 17, 2020, at 12:47 p.m. we are told that “Our Lee” as we knew him: kind, loving, gentle, and thoughtful, transitioned to the other side. He leaves to mourn him, his loving wife, Nicole; children, Maliyah and Emmanuel; mother, Barbara Brown; father, Robert Wilson, Jr.; mom#2, Corlissa Wilson; sisters, Patricia Banks and Morgan Wilson; mother-in-law, Debra Ekuwsumi; father-in-law, John Campbell; brother-in-law, Chris Campbell; grandmother, Patricia Kendrick; grandfather, Willie F. Brown; great grandmother, Doris Howard; aunts, Sharon Jackson, Tasheia Mitchell, and Deborah (Timothy) Cooper; uncle, Robert (Stephanie) McCray, and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
