Raymond Craig Sr.

Raymond attended North Clayton High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served honorably for 3 years, before returning to civilian life. After returning to civilian life, he attended and graduated from the apprenticeship program of Sheet Metal Union Local 85 of Atlanta, GA. He also served as Past Master of the Masonic Lodge of Beulah #698 of Rockmart, GA.

Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucy Craig (Cox), his sister Delia Lance, and brothers Gene Craig and Carroll Craig.

Mr. Raymond Craig Sr. is survived by his sister Peggie Tanner of Villa Rica, GA and his sons Doug (Angel) Craig of Griffin, GA, Dale (Mandy) Friend of Douglasville, GA, Michael Craig of Villa Rica, GA, and his only daughter Dee (Gene) Walls of Temple, GA.

He is also survived by his granddaughters: Laurel Friend, Autumn Walls, Jasmine Walls, Catherine Craig, Evan Craig, Destiny Craig, Kamerlee Englett, and Kaylan Englett, grandsons: Nicholas Friend and Tyler Fann, and 3 great grandchildren: Connor Friend, Caleb Friend, and Avery Allen. Along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces, Mr. Raymond Craig also leaves behind a very large work family that he loved very much.
