One of the first neighbors I had that was my age. You and your sisters were kind of like the siblings I never got to have. I hated it when y’all moved away. I’ll never forget going fishing with Brian and my dad or going up the street to hang out with Trevor and Taylor. I miss you man. I wish you were across the street just one more time so I could walk over and let you tell me all about your bike and everything going on in your life. You were taken too soon. You are loved and missed brother. Rest easy and keep smiling over your family.

It feels like it was just yesterday. 
trinity was introducing me to you. 
I was nervous and wanted to make a good impression. Nothing could have prepared me to meet you. You had a real I know I’m a bada** vibe to you. But at the same time you we’re just welcoming. You welcomed me into the family and made me feel like I have been around forever.
Even though you like to mess around and give me a hard time I know it was in love and we could laugh about it.
I’m gonna miss our late night talks between me, you, and trinity. You were always out and about so when you were around you always had something fun to talk about.
I will never forget the time I was changing my spark plugs on my truck. And You walked up curious to see what I was up to under the hood. You Told me that if I wanted to make big power that you are the man for the job. 
At the time you had your neck brace so you weren’t able to help much. 
Hopefully one day we will meet again and you can help me build my truck. Show me the big power you were talking about.

Family is a quilt made up of many pieces, today a very important piece of the quilt is missing. You had an amazing spirit, infectious smile, and a love of family that was so impressive it made others aspire. Your presence will be missed, but you will never be forgotten. 

Cody,  I love you very much. You were an amazing cousin, and you were gone far too soon. I know you are in Heaven now and you must be enjoying it, but we still miss you.  I'll always remember and love you.

There are so many memories going through my head trying to think of the perfect one to tell. From when we were still in middle school and turned a tree we cut down into a functioning mortar to running with you when you were doing your PT runs in ROTC. From you showing up at my house at the middle of the night asking if I’m hungry. I would always say yeah, but I don’t got any money; and you would EVERYTIME say I didn’t ask that now get in 😂and then we would head off on another great adventure in the Lexus. Every second with you was the best and the all the fun we had I will always cherish most in life. I will never forget the amazing and unforgettable times we had cuzzo. I love you brother I know I’ll see you again 

Cody, since you were born, you brought so many smiles and laughter to my life. You were such a happy little baby boy and I loved every minute that I got to see you. I watched you grow up into a handsome young man. I never thought you would leave us at such a young age. I’m still trying to wrap my brain around this sad time in my life. When I think about you, I can’t seem to stop crying and I can’t even get the words out when I speak of you. Just 4 months ago, we stood side by side with each other at another sad time but I know we’ll see each other again. I love you with all my heart and I’m already missing you so so much! No words can express how much I love you. I loved you before I ever gave birth to you. You had my heart as soon as I laid eyes on you. My heart is in a million pieces and I don’t know how to move forward without you. We had so many special moments together and I’m so happy I was blessed to be your mom. Cody you meant the absolute world to me. I can’t even count the times we used to sit on the tailgate  of my truck or the back porch talking bout all the dumb stuff you did and how i shouldn’t do it, Or us shooting guns and goin fishing and you kicking me to the bridge cause i was to loud. I love you so much Cody and I’m gonna keep going for you. Even though you’re not physically here i know you’ll still be here especially.

I loved my big brother Cody. I remember him coming over and playing video games with me. I also remember one time we stayed up all night playing our favorite video game and we made cereal and we were laughing and spitting milk everywhere it was very fun. I used to always make fun of Cody and joke around with him but at the end of the day I loved him so much and I always have looked up to him. I miss him and hope to see Cody again one day.

Cody was a great brother who treated me well. I remember when he used to live with us and we would always have a good time. We had so many great memory's together and so many laughs.  Cody truly was a good brother and life isn't going to be the same without him. I will always miss him.

I’ve spent a lot of life with you. I was so sure that the 3 years before you were born was going to be the only time in my life I’d have to live without you. I was so excited to be your big sister. You made it super difficult not to choke your lights out every single day of my life since then, but it was so incredibly worth it. I am so happy to have been a part of your life and seeing you grow to be the man that you were. I will hold on to our goofy inside jokes and silly fights and memories of us laughing until we were crying until the end of my life. 

One day, after this is all over I hope I see you again and I’m greeted with “sup stinky?” or “nice to see ya again, flatscreen.” 

There will never be a day that passes that I don’t think of you, I hope you know that. I’ll never be the same without you but I’ll try my best. I love you more than you’ll ever know.

Cody, you became a part of my life when you were very young. I watched you grow into a young man with an incredibly huge heart who loved his family.
