Betty Zane Powers, age 91 of Union City went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born December 5, 1925 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of Herbert and Cara (Loop) Hoag. She was preceded in death by her husband John Powers in 1997 and daughter
Betty Zane in 1988.
Betty is survived by her sons, James, Daniel (Darlene), Paul, John (Amy), David (Trina);
17 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
According to Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, John at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. No Services per Betty’s requests.
