Billy is survived by his wife, Terry Wilson, of Cocoa, Fl., Sister-in-law Victoria Johnson, of Cocoa, Fl., Daughter, Kaitlin Cole (Dylan) both of Richlands, NC., and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Annie Wilson; brother, Woodrow Wilson; and sister, Virginia Allison.
Billy was born in Frontenac, FL on December 11, 1935. He graduated from Cocoa High School, class of 1955 where he played football. He also served honorably in the Army National Guard. Billy went on to serve as a Cocoa Beach Police Officer as well as a Cocoa Police Officer before becoming a Brevard County Sheriff's Deputy for 30 years. During that time he opened Frontenac Flea Market and ran that business for 27 years. He also volunteered at the four communities Fire Department for 13 years where he eventually became President and ran the Fire Department Bingo. He retired from the Sheriff's Office in 1989 and opened Allstate Process Service and Private Investigations in 1992. He operated the business for 22 years until 2014. He truly was a pillar in our community and was loved by many.
Friends and family are welcome to come pay their respects. Billy's viewing will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home: 5475 N. US-1, Cocoa, Fl. 32927, Monday, October 7th, 2019, 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service is at New Life Christian Fellowship Church: 6755 S. Washington Ave. Titusville, Fl. 32780, Tuesday, October, 8th, 2019 at 1pm. Following the funeral you are invited to Kay's Barbecue located at 1552 King St Cocoa, Fl. 32926 to celebrate Billy's life at his favorite restaurant.
