Born in Lewiston, Idaho in 1940. Ron was the son of an Air Force Sergeant and grew up in the military. He even went to High School in Okinawa, Japan. He enlisted in the Navy in 1958 and rose to the rank of Senior Master Chief with 32 years of service in the active and reserve.
Ron loved to tell a joke. He loved people and is remembered for opening his home to many family members, friends and strangers in need throughout his life. Ron loved to tell stories especially when he was with his father who lived to be 100 years young.
Ron thoroughly loved his animals, and found pleasure watching westerns and war movies. He particularly loved hearing what was going on in all his grandchildren's lives. Most recently waiting for the daily updates of his youngest grandchild Brock's baseball games. Above all else, the thing Ron said over and over again is how proud he was of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children. Cherished father to daughter Kelly (Steve) Sobieski and sons Garrett Frisbee and Ronald Jr. (Stephanie) Frisbee. Adored Papa to Maddie and Libbie Sobieski, Katie and Carlie Frisbee, Brock Frisbee, and Alec and Austin Walsh. Dear brother to Nancy Sturgill and Jerry Frisbee.
