The first time I met Lydia I felt like part of the family.  Her daughter Jean Soto Herron invited me to a family gathering.  I have never met a woman like her before.  She is someone you want to be friends with, and she makes you feel loved.  She was so encouraging and wise.  Lydia raised a beautiful family and went on to be a very special part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.  
She made a mark that will never be forgotten as her love and faith will be carried on by her beautiful family.
She is missed by so many friends and family worldwide.
Rest in Peace, my friend.  You are a beautiful soul!

Thank you so much lola for being there for me and for guiding me and watching me to get myself into the right path and without you I wouldn’t be even here. I will definitely miss the times that you and I have like when we talk about a lot of things that I should do for school, how to become a very independent person but staying humble, giving me an advice when things get tough and many more. I just wish that we can do that again, but I know you’re happy now and I promise that I will finish my nursing school and take care of my parents and also my siblings.
