Carole Ann Alvino

Carole Ann Alvino, age 89, passed peacefully on October 09, 2024, in Cocoa, Florida. Born on July 07, 1935, in Jackson Heights, New York to Helen and George Newman. She was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Robert Alvino. Carole is survived by five children, Elizabeth Scheiner, Patricia Frederick, William Alvino, Pamela Rampulla, and Carolynn Angilello.

Carole worked for many years at Shoreham Wading River School District. Later in life, Carole and “Bob” Alvino moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She cherished her pets. Her bright, energetic personality made you feel special. Carole’s door was always open, all were welcome in her home. Carole’s favorite pastime was reading.

Carole was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend one could ask for. She displayed a quote in her Southern Pines home: “A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child”. And that’s exactly what Carole was a devoted mother, grandmother of fifteen, great grandmother to thirteen, and a great great grandmother to one. To know Carole was to love Carole, who we will forever miss every day of our lives.
