Frank R. Lopez, 69, died suddenly on August 2, 2017 in Fresno, California with his family by his side. He was born January 13, 1948, in Kingsburg, CA. Raised in Huron, he graduated from Coalinga High School in 1966.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. On October 9, 1967, he married Susie Lopez (Soto). This year would have marked their 50th wedding anniversary. He was an amazing father to their three daughters, Carolyn, Lisa, and Jennifer. Frank was the Administrative Supervisor for 41 years with Crop Production Services in Five Points, CA. After he retired in 2013, he enjoyed spending time traveling, gardening, and cheering on his grandchildren at all of their sporting events. He was also an active member in his church. Known for his wonderful smile and laugh, he brought joy to those around him.
He is survived by his wife Susie Lopez; daughter Lisa Sprague and husband Cole, daughter Jennifer Herrin and husband Chuck Jr., son-in-law Brett Trinidad; five grandchildren, Joshua, Austin, Nolan, Avery and Hudson; sisters Connie Sansinena, Dolores Silva, Carmen Neely and brother Dennis Lopez; and numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Pasqual and Luisa Lopez; brother Pasqual Lopez Jr.; and daughter Carolyn Trinidad.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 19th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 637 Sunset St., Coalinga. The rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a mass starting at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Coalinga.
