Modesto Sabes Adame, age 45, of Angleton was born April 9, 1966 in Rockport, Texas to Luciano and Gloria Barajas Adame and he died at the Houston Hospice on January 27, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and mentor to many. He was beloved and respected by all who knew him. He loved golf, was a BIG Dallas Cowboy fan, softball coach and a member of the Freeport Softball Association. He served as CAER Chairman in 2011, worked as a Safety and Health Supervisor for Chevron Phillips, was a Safety Specialist for Dow Chemical and also worked for the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gonzalez Adame; children, Amanda Adame, Krystal Adame, Michelle Adame; step-children, Meagan Marroquin, Miranda Marroquin, Zack Marroquin; grandchildren, Abby, Alex, Leigha, Jose; parents, Luciano and Gloria Adame; siblings, Johnny Adame and his wife Annie, Cosme Adame and his wife Melanie; David Adame, Shalom Adame, Sonja Carreon and her husband Victor. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday. January 30, 2012 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at the Restwood Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at St. Michaels Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the Parrish Hall following the memorial service.
