Mary Puckett

Mary Rafael Puckett, 87, of Clute, passed away June 19, 2010 at Lakewood Nursing Home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Restwood Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 23 at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Clute.

Mary was born June 21, 1922 to Henry and Vicenta Estrada in Freeport, Texas. Mary enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years Collin Puckett, Jr.; brother Daniel Estrada; sister Annie Guzman; granddaughter Laura Puckett.

Survivors include her sons, Bob Puckett of Old Ocean, Collin Puckett III and his wife Sandra of Brazoria; Daughter Carol Ringhausen and her husband Don of Churchill; brothers Abraham Estrada of Brazoria, Lupe Estrada of Brazoria; sisters Louisa Perez of Angleton, Mary Serna of Auburn, Washington, Tonie Martinez, of Pasadena; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Tad Puckett, Bryan Puckett, Aaron Puckett, Seth England, Tad Puckett, Jr., Teager Puckett, and honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Coleman and Donny Fendley.
