Deborah “Debbie” Yvonne Thomas, 59, of Lake Jackson, TX passed away on April 24 2015 in Houston TX. Debbie was born on January 8th 1956 to Joseph & Joyce Segler in Ardmore, OK. Debbie married Glen Thomas in Ardmore, OK on January 23 1991.
Debbie served in her vocation as a nurse, and in her free time was an avid gardener who loved flowers, especially Passion Vines and Indian Paintbrush. She had a deep compassion for all of God’s creation. She loved animals, especially rescuing them. She also loved to be ‘crafty’ – her many talents included painting, crocheting, knitting, beadwork; and she loved to cook. Her family will miss especially her Beef Stew and her own made up recipe for what she called “enchuritos.”
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Thomas; five daughters, Joye Hurst, Lisa Branstetter, Jennifer Wilson, Gabrielle Thomas, and Lauren Thomas; 3 granddaughters: Kirsten, Angelia, and Lily; 1 great-granddaughter Isabella; and her beloved dog Sophie. She is further survived by 3 brothers: Joe Clinton Segler, Barry Segler, Billy Segler; 2 sisters, Regina Shurbet and Darla White; 3 nieces: Courtney, Kisha, Shawnda; and 3 nephews: Travis, Eric and Jared.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 2nd 2015 at 11am at Restwood Funeral Home.
