Christopher Lynn Nunn went to be with our Lord on January 12, 2022, following a courageous battle with COVID. Chris Nunn, age 48, was born on April 14, 1973 in Cleburne, TX to Susan and Gary Nunn. Chris grew up in Cleburne graduating from Cleburne High School in 1991. He received a tennis scholarship and attended classes at UT Arlington and Parker Chiropractic College.
Chris married Crystal (Haish) Nunn in 2003.The couple have 3 sons, Zackery, Hayden and Evan. Chris and Crystal are members of First United Methodist Church of Lake Jackson. Chris was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was always involved in the boy’s baseball teams and activities, even coaching one year. He worked as a roofing contractor and building specialist for almost two decades. He was an avid fisherman, with an affinity for salt water. He loved to use his smoker to cook for family. Chris was always eager to share the word of God and had a way of uplifting those around him. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. His humor made him sparkle, and he will be so greatly missed.
Chris is survived by wife Crystal, sons Zackery, Hayden and Evan, mother Susan (John) Alvarez, Stepmother Jeannine Nunn, brother Craig (Brandi) Nunn, stepsister Kristen (Mike) Zuelke, stepsister Jacqueline(Darlene) Alvarez and stepbrothers Jonathan and Jeremiah Alvarez, grandfather Hal Garber, nieces Gabriella and Addison and nephews Nathan, Brycen and Nolan.
He is preceded in death by father Gary Nunn, cousin Brian Markum, grandparents Bob and Florence Nunn, Patricia Garber and Homer Koon.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Nunn, Zackery Nunn, Craig Nunn, Lee Smith, Brycen Nunn, and Eddie Haish.
Services will be on January 18, 2022 at First United Methodist Church of Lake Jackson, 404 Azalea St, Lake Jackson, TX 77566. Visitation at 10 a.m., Service at 11 a.m. Interment following at Restwood Memorial Park 1038 W. Plantation Dr., Clute, TX 77531.
