Carolyn Jean Gregory

Carolyn Jean Gregory, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Alvin, Texas. Carolyn was born October 2, 1944 in El Campo, Texas to John W. Morgan Sr. and Patricia Janca Morgan.

She spent most of her adult life in San Antonio, Texas, where she worked for the San Antonio Express News for 26 years and raised two kids, Scott Gregory and Wende Kellerhall. Carolyn had a love for arts and crafts and plants and will be remembered for her macramé crafts and plant shop in San Antonio. While she enjoyed her time in San Antonio, she moved to Alvin, Texas in 2011 to be closer to family.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Linda Chapman.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Scott (Adelka) Gregory; daughter, Wende Kellerhall; brother, John (Shannon) Morgan Jr.; grandchildren, Lisa Armstrong, Nathan Gregory, Brandon Gregory; great-grandchildren, Aiden Holt, Addison Holt, and Brooke Legget.

Those of us who were part of her life will not forget Carolyn. May she rest in peace and forever stay in our hearts and minds.

A Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday Saptember 18, 2021 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, with a Funeral at 3:00pm, followed by a graveside service.
