Carlos Soria Ramirez Sr.

Carlos Soria Ramirez, of Angleton, Texas, was born, Sunday, January 18, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Santiago and Josefina Soria Ramirez and died Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Galveston, Texas at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 1 day. He worked for many years as a crane operator in the construction business. He is survived by his wife, Maria DeJesus Ramirez; sons, Oscar Ramirez, Carlos Ramirez, Jr., Jorge Calderon, Jose Cervantes; daughters, Margaret Ramirez, Catherine Ramirez, Esmeralda Calderon; brothers, Joe Ramirez, Mike Ramirez, Manule Ramirez, Mario Ramirez; sisters, Felipa Gonzales, Tommie Mata and Lucy Ybarra. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Restwood Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm, following the visitation. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Restwood Funeral Home Chapel with David Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Park with Mario Ramirez, Gabriel Mata, Chris Ramirez, Isaac Ramirez, Michael Ramirez and Aryl Ramirez serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eduardo Carnzales and Jose Cervantes. Services are under the direction of Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.
