Bob was born in Breckinridge, Texas on May 6, 1937, to Gladys Marie Metcalf and Robert Jackson. At the age of eleven his family moved to Clovis, Ca. Bob is preceded in death by his mother and father; sister, Phyllis Hood; and his brother, James Jackson. On July 31, 1959, Robert and Catherine Elizabeth Kemplin were united in marriage in Fresno. From this union came three daughters, Deborah Brown and her two sons, Jason and Joshua Brown, Michelle "Mitzie" Nuesca and her husband Anthony, and their children Nicole Akers, Natalie Akers and Blake Nuesca, and Cynthia Sauceda and her husband Steve and their daughter Brooke. Visistation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2010, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Friday, July 9, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Peoples Church on Friday, July 9, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Cancer Care Associates, 1791 E.
