Margie Hutchings

Margie was born to Austin and Ada Christy on April 30, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa. She was the youngest of four kids and was not only the baby of the family she was the Princess

On September 27, 1964, Margie married the love of her life Tommy Ray Hutchings and they had two boys Tommy Jr. and Robert. She was a cherished wife and a devoted mother, and an adored grandmother.

Margie loved her flowers, spent hours tending to her flowerbeds, and had the most beautiful yard on her street. She would sit for hours watching all the hummingbirds that her flowers attracted.

Margie is survived by her husband, Tommy "Hutch" Hutchings; her son Tommy R, Hutchings; her daughter-in-law Sherri Hutchings; her son Robert L. Hutchings; and her daughter-in-law Scarlett Hutchings; her grandson Bradley Hutchings, her granddaughter Carissa, her grandson Brandon Hutchings, her grandson Travis Springer, her great-grandchild Hunter, her great-grandchild Waylon, her great-grandchild Harper and her great-grandchild Hazel.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her father Austin Christy and her mother Ada Christy; her brother Jim Christy; her brother Austin Christy, Jr; her sister Donna and her sister Carol.

A Graveside Service for Marjorie will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at Academy Cemetery, 10880 Mendocino Avenue, Clovis, CA 93612.

Serving, as Honorary Pallbearers are Bradley Hutchings, Brandon Hutchings, Mark Sawyer, Eric Knutson, Luke Infausto and Mark Simonian.
