Dorothy Jean Skelton, age 98, of Clovis, California entered into rest on Monday, July 8, 2024. Dorothy was born on August 12, 1925 in Gardner, North Dakota to Randi Skelton and Robert A. Rudd. Dorothy is the youngest of four children.
She married the love of her life Miles Skelton and they had four children; Terry, Rick, Scott, and Kim. Her four kids gave her 10 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Miles and Dorothy owned two Hallmark stores for many years which brought so much joy to her life.
Dorothy loved being social and chatting with everyone. Dorothy loved to watch sports and play cars. Dorothy loved music and loved to dance. Her favorite singers were Engelbert Humperdinck and Elvis Presley.
Dorothy is survived by her son Terry Skelton; her son Rick Skelton; her son Rick Skelton; and her son Kim Skelton as well as her 10 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Miles Skelton; her son Scott Skelton; her father Robert A. Rudd and her mother Randi Skelton; her brother Bill Rudd; her sister Dolly Rudd and her brother Robert Rudd.

A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
