Bennie Paul Willsey, age 85, of Clovis, California passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born in late spring of 1939 in Lindsay, California to and Paul M. Willsey and Jessie M. (Coleman) Willsey.
Bennie is survived by his daughter Mylinda Willsey of Natick, MA; and his daughter Darla Thompson (Robert) of Clovis, CA. Five loving grandchildren also survive him.
Bennie was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Willsey; his father Paul M. Willsey and his mother Jessie M. (Coleman) Willsey; his sister Mary Morey and his brother Don Willsey.
Bennie loved talking to people especially his neighbors. He was extremely involved in the neighborhood activities. Bennie was not afraid to share his faith in Jesus Christ. He was hard working and devoted to taking care of his wife and children before retirement. He also enjoyed working with wood and his hands.
A visitation for Bennie will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
A funeral service will occur Friday, July 19, 2024 from 9:30 AM, at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, immediately followed the committal service at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
Serving as pallbearers are Colby Catalano, Tanner Thompson, Braden Thompson, Michael Thompson, Robert Thompson and Sean Ryan.
