Richard S. Zaremba

Survived by wife Janice (Dorosz) Zaremba. Daughters; Denise (Ronald) Ross and Michelle (William) Gulu, and stepdaughter Cheryl (Chuck) Dinkins. Grandchildren; Marcie (Daniel) VanDenBrouck, Kenneth (Lisa) Ross, Heather (Matthew) Gulu and Richard Gulu. Great Grandchildren; Tyler, Kaylie, Logan, Lillia, Landon and Henry. Also survived by brother Ronald Zaremba.

Preceded in death by parents Sigismund and Josephine, sister Patricia Falk and stepdaughter Lynn York.

Richard served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring as an Officer. He also retired from General Motors as a Skilled Trades Foreman in 1992. Richard was a “jack of all trades”, anything from woodworking and gardening to sewing, jewelry making and cake decorating. He loved computers, genealogy and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Richard was proud of his Polish Heritage. Richard treasured his family and cats, spending time with them and making memories were the most important things in his life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 3:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Rd. Clinton Twp. MI 48038. A Funeral Service in his honor will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017, Richard will lie in state at 10 a.m until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
