Rachel G. Lemmon, age 96, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away on February 23, 2023. She is the loving mother of Joe (Cindy) Lemmon, Christine (Ron) Markovitch, and Bob (Michele) Lemmon; Treasured grandmother of Jennifer Lemmon, Jeremy (Katie) Lemmon and his children Holly, Elena and Lincoln; Mary (Scott) Jamnik and her children Eleanor, Evelyn and Quentin; Ronnie (Casey) Markovitch and his children Summer and Ruby; Emily Markovitch, Anthony Lemmon, and Eric Lemmon; Dear sister-in-law of Orville and Maryanne Wahoski and Marian Persyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rachel lived a life that was dedicated to her family and her faith. Everything she did was for her family. She also lived as a devout Catholic, and over the years was active in St. Ronald Parish in Clinton Township, St. Paul of Tarsus Parish in Clinton Township, and St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Shelby Township. Rachel will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 2-8 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI. An instate will follow on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 9:30 AM, until time of funeral mass at 10 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, MI. Final resting place, Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rachel’s memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
