Dr. Stark retired after more than 45 years in practice as a general dentist in Sterling Heights. A 1972 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, he was also a graduate of Central Michigan University. While at Central, he was one of the founding members of the university's Sigma Pi fraternity chapter.
He was an avid University of Michigan football fan and enjoyed fishing in Port Huron and Canada, especially for walleye and pike. He enjoyed golfing for fun, as well as taking trips to Las Vegas.
Dr. Stark is survived by his daughter, Erica; sister, Nancy (the late Larry) Savage; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Stark; brother-in-law, Michael Rampton; niece, Julie Isman; nephew, Ben Rampton; and family friend, Yvonne Stehle. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Sandra (nee Dooley); parents, Frederick Carl Stark and Florence Charlotte (nee Wehrmeister); and siblings, Jim Stark and Laurie Rampton.
No services will be held according to his wishes
