Mary Brincat, of Clinton Twp., passed away on June 4, 2017, at 88 years of age. Loving wife of the late Charles J. Brincat; adoring mother of Paul (Gina) Brincat, Ann Marie (Tom) Kokuba, Maria Patuna, and Frank (Fran) Brincat; dear grandmother of Nicholas (Amanda) Brincat, Michael (Kristen) Kokuba, Christopher Kokuba, Dana (Nick) Avery, Brianne Brincat, Steven Patuna, Genna Brincat, Julie (Cody) Bucholtz, and Jamison (McKenzie) Brincat; proud great-grandmother of Olivia Avery, Weston and Layla Bucholtz.
Mary was born on May 7, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank and Maria Flores. She was a devoted catholic, never missing a morning mass, and was involved deeply with her church in various groups, including the Women’s Group and prayer ministry; offering assistance and prayers for anyone she met. Mary enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband Charles including visits to the Holy Land, Italy, and Sicily, their visits to Niagra on the Lake, square dancing, knitting, and crocheting. They frequented the theatre, appreciating plays and shows. Mary’s proudest moments were spent with her family, praying for and with them, feeding them, and especially doting on her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 2:30pm-8:00pm, with a 7:00pm Rosary, on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 21201 E. 13 Mile Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI. Rev. Ronald DeHondt officiating. In State from 9:30 am until time of service. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Mary’s memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen
