Marie Ann Easley

Marie’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister, Nancy Mitchell. She was the loving grandmother to Lucas Easley, Todd Easley (Whitney), Jamie Huntley (James), Martin Krall (Alicia), Brian Krall (Carin), Thomas Krall (Lauren), Lindsay Vahlund (Fredrik). Adored great-grandmother to sixteen great-grandchildren and counting. Marie also leaves behind 64 nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Marie Iwankovitsch, her beloved grandson Eric Easley, and her siblings - Jacob Iwankovitsch (late Mary), Henry Iwankovitsch (late Lorraine), Harold Iwankovitsch (late Eleanor), Dorothy Paulan (late Thomas), Steven Iwankovitsch (Marge), Franklin Iwankovitsch, Helen Blind (late Edward), Theresa Budzinski (late Joseph), and Rose Ferreri (late Richard).

Marie loved her family above everything, and her entire life was spent in service to her family. They are all tremendously grateful for having her. Marie’s fondest memories were her family parties and family reunions where she gathered with all of them to rejoice each other.

A visitation for Marie will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. A prayer service will occur Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM, instate at 9:30 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
