Marianne Marchand (nee Cady), 73, passed away on December 5, 2024. A devoted mother, cherished partner, beloved sister, and friend to many, Marianne leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and selflessness.
Marianne was the proud and loving mother of Jamie Bommarito (Leonard Fox), and the supportive partner of Charlie Frakes. She was a devoted sister to Richard H. Cady, William Cady, and Michael Cady, and was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gloria Cady.
Music was a cornerstone of Marianne’s life. As a proud member of the Sweet Adelines Eastpointe Chorus, she not only shared her beautiful voice with the world but also found joy in competition, camaraderie, and teaching others to sing. Her passion for music created lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
Beyond her musical talents, Marianne had an exceptional eye for home decor and design. She had a gift for transforming spaces into warm and inviting homes, creating a beautiful aesthetic for her family to enjoy. Butterflies held a special place in her heart, symbolizing her gentle spirit and appreciation for life’s small wonders.
As a single mother, Marianne devoted herself completely to her daughter, Jamie, showing endless love, resilience, and strength. She was known for her giving nature, always putting others first, remembering birthdays, and selecting thoughtful gifts that reflected her deep care for those around her. Marianne was a wonderful listener, a steady source of support, and someone who found ways to persevere no matter the challenges she faced.
A visitation for Marianne will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
