Janet married the love of her life, Raymond on July 14th of her 20th birthday at St. Athanasius in Roseville, Michigan. She belonged to the Sacred Heart Church in Gladwin, Michigan. Janet was very loving and warm- she cherished being with her family. She worked for Chippewa Schools for 19 years and retired as the lead server. Janet enjoyed shopping and playing on her iPad. The true light of her life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Raymond; their children, Cheryl VanAssche and Linda Ray; Grandchildren, Christina Kommula, Amber Tahtolkassaei, Taylor Williams; great-grandchildren, Autumn Tahtolkassaei, Sai Kommula; and sibling Pat Rager.
A chapel service for Janet will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10:00 am at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
