Frances Ann Tarkowski, age 86, of Warren recently living in Romeo, Michigan passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. She was born July 5, 1937 in Sandusky, Michigan to the late Frank and Anna (Gyuran) Kalmar.
Frances liked to bowl, golf, do ceramics, and go the cottage on Harsens Island. She enjoyed shopping- especially Kohl's or Macy's, and traveling- one of her favorite trips was to Alaska. Frances loved the theater and was an usher for the Macomb Theatre and the Fisher Theatre. She was a Friend of the Library and played in a Pinochle card club. Frances was truly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Frances is survived by her daughter Chris Pigg; her grandchildren, Kristy, Mandy, Phillip, Noah, Shae; great-grandchildren, Oreo, Marcie, Madison, Brooklyn, Gregory, Rosie, Ryder, Caleb; siblings, Judy (Richard) Hipsky, Jimmy (Linda) Gyuran. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis Tarkowski; a son, Greg (Chris) Tarkowski; a grandson, Zachary; and a sister, Rosemary (Ray) Rainy.
A visitation for Frances will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 6:00 pm Funeral Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be May 23, at 11:00 AM at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.d
