Evelyn was born and raised in Detroit and lived for many years in Warren, MI as well as Macomb, MI. Evelyn was known to her family and friends as a very happy, smiling and loving person who always provided help and support for her family. She cherished getting together with friends and relatives to play cards or games or even just a simple dinner to enjoy the company of her family and friends. Evelyn loved to gamble, love to bowl and loved to play golf as those activities allowed her to enjoy the company of those who were closest to her.
Evelyn worked as an administrative assistant for many years until she took a position with the Warren School District, so she could be closer to her daughters who had begun attending school. Evelyn continued to work for the Warren School District for many years until her eventual retirement. Evelyn suffered from dementia in her later years, finally succumbing to the illness surrounded by her family.
Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Shelley (Timothy) Ricamore, and Deborah (Kenneth) Krolewski; four grandchildren, Chelsea (Michael) Lessick, Jarrett Krolewski, Todd Krolewski, Emerson Krolewski; three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Everly, and Mila Lessick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa & John Doher; a sister Ida Doher; and her loving husband of 42 years, Anthony Palazzolo.
