Christine was a world traveler with her husband John “Jack” Moore. They were married on November 7, 1976 for 46 years that included living in Germany while working for the US Government, many adventures on six continents and all 50 states. Christine loved crocheting afghans for her family members and collecting trinkets and jewelry from her trips. She was an avid crafter and her bowling league secretary. Christine enjoyed her extended family through cousin trips, breakfast meetups, and family events. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include husband John “Jack” Moore; children, Terri (Bruce) Rose, John Moore, Linda (Jeff) Parker, Jeff (Doug & Ray) Moore; grandchildren, Jacquie (Jason) Graves, Katie (Johnny) Manning, E’lyse (Ghaige) Benson, Alex Parker, Joshua Moore, Mason (Sarah) Moore, Evan (Danielle) Moore; great-grandchildren Lynlee, Kyndall, Elliott, Briar, Boone, and Emilia; sister Linda Nahtygal Brady; nieces, April (Julie) Russell, Tracy (Troy) Nahtygal-Downing; nephews, Marty (Kelly) Nahtygal, Matthew (Janice) Nahtygal, Mark (Kathy) Nahtygal; a dear cousin- Debbie Johnston; and many other cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley & Helen (Rucinski) Nahtygal of Hamtramck, Michigan, and brother Tom Nahtygal.
A visitation for Christine will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 from Noon until a 1:30 PM Funeral Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A Graveside service will be Monday, July 31, 2023 at 9 am Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
