Michael is survived by his mother Debbie Clark of Clinton CT, his two brothers Ronald (Billy) Carter of Derby, VT, Robert (Bobby) Carter and his partner Mariah, of Guilford, CT, his sister Karrie McAllister of Clinton CT, his two nephews DaShaun and Joshua, his niece Lana, his three aunts Karen Hisman, and Jody Pope of VT, and Tina Fountain of NH, his uncle Kevin Pope of FL, and several cousins. He was also close to Patrick Chasse Sr., his wife Julie, of Westbrook, CT, and their family, along with close friends.
Michael was born in Newport, VT on October 9th 1989 to Debbie Clark. They moved to Clinton, CT when Michael was 4. He graduated from The Morgan School in 2007, where he then began his journey as a professional landscaper.
Michael was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and loyal friend. He especially loved his mother Debbie. Also, he adored his two cats Nova and Chimken. Michael was passionate about his work and skills that included all of the freshly mowed straight lines and the perfect edging of beds. Michael enjoyed spending time with friends and family. His favorite things to do included going to the beach, boating on the CT River and Long Island Sound, watching and attending sports games. He especially liked the 49ers, the Boston Red Sox, and the Celtics. Michael liked gambling, playing cards, grilling and cooking with a beer in hand, playing disc golf, snowboarding in VT, driving fast and playing music loudly.
Michael, was a dedicated, loyal, and hard-working, young man who lived his life to the fullest. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him would say this to be true.
A service to remember Michael will be held at the Swan Funeral Home in Clinton, CT, on Wednesday, November 16th from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 10 Sandy Brook Rd., Clinton, CT 06413. There will also be a benefit held at the Sobieski Club in Deep River, CT on Saturday, December 3rd at 2 PM.
