I came from your comment underneath Fade into You. Finding human stories in pieces of the internet I'd never expect reminds me how simple we humans are, after all. How our shared humanity is such a primal thing inside us all. I hope now, 6 years later, you have found comfort - and can live on in his stead, doing what you love most. 

Perhaps fate will have us meet someday, and we will never know. Then again, perhaps not.

Condolences to the Reyes family.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family.  Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds."  May God bring you comfort and peace. 

I was Wilson's Department Chair, Instructor, and Mentor when he got his degree in Graphic Design. I was so proud of Wilson making the decision to final achieve his dreams and work towards a career that he loves. He worked so hard at school, while juggling a very difficult full-time job, and a family that he absolutely adored. He often spoke of his family in class and talked about all the things he and his daughter would do over the weekends. You could tell what kind of man, husband, and father he was and it was honorable and inspirational. When Wilson finally got his degree, followed by a job he absolutely loved, I couldn't have been more proud and honored to have been a part of it. It is beyond sad to know that this pride and joy would be so short lived but it is somewhat comforting to know that he did do it. Wilson was a great man and he will be missed by soooo many people. I wish to share my sincere condolences to Wilson's wife, daughter, entire family, and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
