Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Rudy Nieves;
She is survived and greatly missed not only by her children, Neftali Nieves (Carmen), Jennifer Nieves (Joel), and David Nieves (Xiomara); but also by her grandchildren Rudy, Ruby, Xavier, Jaeliz, Jolaniz, Julitza, Jadah, and Jaydier.
Sylvia was a devoted and cherished grandma and was called “Mama” by all her grandchildren. She had an active role in their everyday lives and took great pride in taking care of them.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
A celebration of life and public viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Rd. Cleveland , Ohio 44102
A Service will also be held at the funeral home on Friday December 27, 2024 at 11am.
Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
