Marian Moore, affectionally known as Cookie, daughter of the late Dorothy Moore and Marion Pugh, was born May 20, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and was a graduate of Glenville High School (and she made sure you knew that!) She was voted best dressed AND best dancer, two things she was very proud of. At an early age she professed her faith and was baptized at Second New Hope Baptist Church.
Cookie spent her days eating snacks, watching her favorite shows on tv, playing cards, and eating snacks (she really loved snacks). She was naturally funny and loved a good laugh. She also enjoyed being in the company of her family and friends. She was very loving and supportive. She often volunteered her time to assist her daughter with girl scouts and setting up decorations for events. She quietly departed this life on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her apartment in Richmond Heights, which she ADORED! She is preceded in death by her sister, Katherine.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her only child:
India Moore-Harper, son-in-law, William Harper; grandchild, London Harper, brother, Freddie Moore; sisters: Diane Kince, Darlene Moore-Gosselin, Yvette Pugh, Kim Pugh, mother-in-law, Hazel Pugh and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
