His family settled in Ohio where he lived until joining the US Air Force. He returned to Ohio and became a lifelong resident preferring to be close to family.
He enjoyed traveling until he was no longer physically able. He was an amazing artist and saw art and beauty everywhere. Although he had hoped he had more time, he didn't waste the time he had and made sure to leave nothing unsaid. He spent his last months and days making sure that his family and friends knew how much they meant to him. The family is grateful to the doctors, nurses, everyone at Hospice, and especially grateful for everyone who came to see him in his last days.
