I've known  Darlene A. Jones  since I was very little   not only going to west 58th  ST Church  of God. Darlene sister of  Uncle Dennis , which was married to my aunt Christine (  my  Dad sister) now Darlene is in paradise having a family   reunion with  Darlene Mother Ann ,and  my Dad  Michael, Uncle Dennis  and so many more. I always looked up to   Darlene  as  if she was my aunt ,friend and my mom's best friend I remember going to  Darlene's house  after church my mom would go over to her house a lot through the week and  the  Weekend  I got to stay  the night  with her daughters Misty and Nikki  that was my best friend  We would also go to  many picnics .. Misty, Nikki,  Amanda, joey, Danielle,   Joe, ,It was like they're my cousins but also friends as we got older we we weren't as close but they were always on my mind and in my heart and we stayed connected. I've got to see Darlene a few times recently at some church events and around my mom  .We would meet like at the mall or somewhere.   I remember recently  Darlene was there for my mom and by  my mom side when my Dad passed .she was so always wonderful to me  always had something very kind to say  to me and concerned about Luther  . Darlene you will always be missed but not forgotten till I see you again in  Paradise.my  aunt and friend sis of  faith .. to Darlene's family love you all  and you will be in my prayers...

My Aunt Darlene was always so loving, caring and full of joy. She loved her family unconditionally and always made sure that they knew how loved they were. I remember many Halloweens going trick-or-treating with my cousins and her and we would all pile up in a vehicle and she would drive us around and have us jump in and out as quick as possible so we could get as much candy as possible in the time that we had. I love that memory so much! Her favorite side dish was hominy, in my mind at least. She made them practically with every meal. We picked up a couple cans of hominy this week at the grocery store. I haven't had any in many years, but am looking forward to incorporating them into a meal this week. I will miss her. Though I don't live in Ohio anymore, I loved being connected with her through Facebook. I knew that if I posted anything about my family she would always have something kind to say and would always tell us that we were beautiful. Until we meet again in Heaven!

She was one of the nicest person we have ever meet.   She will be missed.

I met Darlene many years ago playing softball when I first came to W. 58th St. Church. We became and remained friends throughout the years. I have so many memories of this loving, kind-hearted, funny and adventurous friend that I will cherish forever. My heart and prayers go out to Dan and her family. I will miss her dearly 💕

Words can't really describe the heartache that one feels when they lose a loved one.  I think Danielle said it best, a Bonus Mom.  All of us that know her and grew up in her presence have been loved and guided like one of her own.   Darlene always welcomed us, taught us, and was a wonderful example of how to live life as a child of God.   Sending love and comfort to all those that held her close at heart,

Darlene was a lot of things to a lot of People. To me she was a Sister I never had., We met when our daughter's became Friends. ,We went to Church together😇, Vacation together😜, SHOPPING TOGETHER, OOPS did I say sometimes a little longer than we should,Dan or Larry say at times to come HOME 🤣🤣 Lunches together with friends 👥, Parties Together 🎁,Prayed Together 🙏, Worship Together 🙌, Rode motorcycles With our Husband's🏍️  for over 30 Year's. Talked almost Every Day 📞Here is 
Another BIG ONE she meet  her best friend and her Heart ❤️ Dan Jones  thru  Larry and I .  She was able to MARRY👰 , The Love❤️ of Her life. I AM GOING TO MISS HER 💔😭😢 AND SO WILL LARRY.  AS WE DID  SO MANY THINGS AS A COUPLE , TOO MANY TOO COUNT . Proverbs 18:22,Yes we we're close,but Everyone she knew was close to her in a Their Own Way  

How do you thank someone for being your friend and helping you to cope through painful hectic days.  How can you  express  what it has meant to know that she would seek God on your behalf and never give up and always be there to help no matter what.  Darlene is like that.  We shared heartaches and joys. She understands without long explanations and always reaches out with a kind word or to sit with you  when you felt like you couldn't go on. She'd offer a joke and get you to laugh or sit and cry with you and remember back when....  She was always there for me and  I will forever miss my Dearest Friend.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Dan and Darlene was always good to my late husband ( Bill) and I. We very much enjoyed riding our motorcycles together. However her life should be celebrated she had the best heart.  Rest in peace. 

I was fortunate to have a “back-up” mom when mine died….I was so fortunate!! Life is never easy, but God made a way for our blended family to be successful and content! What you and Dad have built is a strong family that stands together and enjoys seeing each other and celebrating all the milestones of of each other’s lives…we are a family!! I thank you for building these relationships and this foundation that will last for years to come. Darlene I lobe you and will miss you for the rest of my life. Rest easy in Heaven.

Darlene was my second mom….I lost my first mom when I was 30 years old (which obviously was really hard) but it was really nice to have a “back-up” mom. She always enjoyed family gatherings…especially Christmas. She ran the house that her and my Dad shared. I cannot express enough how much I will miss her, but I know she is definitely in a better place now. Until we meet again….I love you Darlene

Our mamaw made sure to put a smile on everyone's face. She was loving, honest, understanding, comforting, funny. We are so blessed to have the memories we do .... They will live on forever. We miss you everyday. 💔

I am so grateful to have had a grandma that was so kind and loving, I will forever cherish all our memories. I love and miss you mamaw.

I first met Darlene at West 58th Street Church of God when I was a young person myself.  That was many years ago. I truly loved her and her family.  
There is nothing harder than losing a mother.
